Simple, honest terms agreed before any invoice or line of code. Everything here is designed to be fair, clear and accountable.
Payment schedules
- Websites: 50% deposit to get started, and the remaining 50% balance when you approve the site before it goes live. Custom projects are paid in agreed milestone stages (e.g. 40/30/30).
- Tech Help: Payment is due when the visit or remote session is completed. Cash, check, Zelle or credit card.
- Third-party costs at cost: Anything I buy on your behalf (domain registration, paid stock photo licenses, booking software subscriptions) is passed on at cost, with your written approval first. Zero markup.
Ownership & independence
- Your domain: Your domain name is registered directly in your name and account.
- Your code and content: You own your website, text, photos, and code. Source code is delivered on request. No contracts that hold your site hostage.
- If care ends: If you ever cancel a care plan, your site stays hosted on your own Cloudflare account with zero interruption.
Content timing & restarts
A website build needs text and images to move forward smoothly:
- Clock starts on arrival: Delivery timelines (5–7 business days for Starter, 10–14 days for Business) begin once I receive your initial text and photos.
- 14 days idle: If a project sits untouched for 14 days waiting on materials, the reserved schedule is released.
- 30 days idle: If a project sits idle for 30 days, restarting and rescheduling requires a $150 restart fee.
Revisions & change orders
- Included revisions: Starter Site includes 1 round of revisions; Business Site includes 2 rounds.
- Extra revisions: Revision rounds beyond the included scope are billed at $75/hour.
- Change orders: If you request features or pages outside the agreed package during the build, I will provide a written quote with the exact price and time impact. No work starts before your written yes.
Cancellation & kill fee
If you ever need to cancel a website project mid-way:
- Before design starts: Deposit is refunded minus a $100 intake and setup fee.
- After design starts: The deposit paid to date is retained to cover labor completed.
- After build is complete: The full balance is due upon completion.
Privacy & legal pages
- Basic privacy page included: Every website build includes a clean, standard privacy policy page.
- Legal content: Any specialized legal wording, disclaimers, or terms of service must be provided by you or your attorney. I am a web developer and designer, not a legal advisor.
- Accessibility: Full ADA remediation of an older site is a Custom project.

This doesn't cover new viruses from new downloads, changes someone else made, or hardware that fails on its own. If your computer turns out to be beyond repair, what you paid for the diagnosis goes toward setting up its replacement.

Do I really own everything when the project is done?
Yes, completely. Your domain is registered directly in your name and account. Your website is hosted on your own Cloudflare account. All code and content belong to you, and I provide full source code upon request. There are no hostage contracts.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, business or personal checks, Zelle, and major credit cards. Websites are 50% deposit and 50% upon final approval before launch. Tech Help is paid upon completion of the visit or remote session.
How do change orders work if I want to add something?
If you request extra pages, custom features, or revisions beyond the package scope, I will send a written quote with the exact cost (either a flat add-on rate or $75/hour) and timeline impact. No work begins on changes without your written confirmation.
What if I have to cancel my project?

Are there any hidden monthly hosting fees?
No. Cloudflare Pages hosting is fast, secure, and has no ongoing monthly hosting fee. Care plans ($59/mo or $139/mo) are optional for clients who want maintenance and updates.
